Ninon is a research-based artist working in digital data and installation. Her work combines different techniques including video, drawing and virtual worldbuilding. Exploring the reality of the virtual and its generative quality, she investigates the shifting ontology of simulated storyworlds, and how these environments can enable us to actively perform new possibilities. Acknowledging the potential for speculative media production to hold material consequences, her work examines the paradoxical nature of these experiences and their potential to hybridise and disrupt reality.
Ninon completed her BA at Central Saint Martins and a Fine Art Diploma at the Art Academy. She is currently a resident at BOM and lectures on the BA Fine Art : Computational Arts at Camberwell College of Arts. Selected exhibitions include Paris Internationale 2019. with 650mAh (2019); New Art Now! in collaboration with Narotam Horn, Shwetal Patel and Robert Montgomery at Unit 10, London (2017) and Future Late at the Tate Modern, London (2016).
