Cash Aspeek is a London based Artist and Artist Educator. She works individually and collaboratively. With an MA in Inclusive Arts Practice she develops and delivers art and design education for schools, community groups and families in Museums and Gallery’s specialising in SEND participants. She set up Redstart Arts a learning disabled art group for adults in 2011, recent works have been exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions and The Horniman Museum houses work as part of their permanent collection. Cash recently worked with SEND Families and curated an exhibition in response to John Hejduk in the McAulay Gallery, Royal Academy 2022.
Cash’s personal practice focuses on the overlooked & often discarded, materials from worn sheets to seed-heads. She picks apart & forensically analyses, re-doing & re-purposing everyday objects. Her practice involves ephemeral sculptures, interventions, performance & photography.
Cash is currently working on her DYCP Arts Council funded grant.
