~artifact lattice~ explores speculative images of my inhabited womb developed using 3D modeling tools and ultrasound images of my daughter. Through this process, I consider the experience of transformation and displacement (by mapping 2D pixel data onto 3D base meshes) and the beautifully strange alchemy of DNA.
Madeeha is an Ahmadi Muslim, new media artist who finds magic at the intersection of ritual and technology. In the past, Madeeha has created interactive and reactive sculptures and installations using projection mapping, code, 3D modeling/animation, and weaving to explore the idea of ritual practice and technology as interconnected.
