Luisa Callegari (b. São Paulo, 1994) lives and works in São Paulo, Brasil.
Multimedia artist. Investigating the body as an erotic object, violence, pornography and motherhood. Currently, PhD candidate in Semiotics, researching post porn and performance, at PUC SP with CNPq scholarship. In 2021 received her MFA in Artistic Processes and Procedures at UNESP with CAPES scholarship and in 2015 a BFA in Visual Arts. Her artwork has been shown in numerous exhibitions worldwide, passing by galleries, museums, and independent spaces through Brasil, Chile, Portugal, Italy, France, UK and USA. In her production, she assumes provocative positions, in which temptation and danger are juxtaposed, questioning the process of desire.
